With the holidays around the corner, there are a million things on our bucket list that need to be checked off before the special date comes around. And with it comes the Christmas photos!

Whether to post, remember, celebrate, or mail out those gorgeous Christmas cards, a photo session is in order! This year our studio is offering beautiful setups for Christmas sessions nicely decorated by florist/decorator, Iryna Schulzenko, to make your shoot an unforgettable one. All decorations are handmade from natural elements for unique pictures like no other. We made sure to put together gorgeous décor using all-natural products for photos that won’t be simply beautiful, but picturesque as well.

Our first setup is inspired by Scandinavian designs with clean lines and calm muted tones of white, grey, beige, and pale green. The colors blend nicely with natural untreated woods thus, creating a warm and cozy environment like the perfect December morning.

We recommend wearing casual cozy outfits for this set (such as sweaters, cozy dresses, winter jackets/blazers), and keep in mind your outfits’ colors should match the overall color pallet of the setup which is grey, white, and beige. Make it fun with hats, cozy socks, or any other winter items of your choosing.

Keep in mind that all-white winter outfits work perfectly for our Scandinavian style setting. For a pop of color add a bit of red as it would be the ideal accent color in this case and make you and your family look straight out of a Hallmark movie.

For the cute and family-oriented Christmas morning photos pajamas are the way to go. Plaid patterns never go out of style for Christmas and are a wonderful way to capture the blessed holiday morning filled with joy and cheers. Again, the red color is a wonderful way to stand out in this setup.

Our second setup is rich with green and gold colors which is this year’s biggest trend. This is a very modern yet French look that serves as the perfect holiday home. Gold and green are very popular Christmas colors this year, so we expect to bring this set to life with family photos. You can dress up for this setup by wearing a beautiful evening dress, dress pants, a sweater, or a jacket. This is your holiday party theme, get fancy! The perfect color palette would be green, grey, black, burgundy, and gold.
