Wendy and Tanner’s engagement shoot reminded me of why I love my job. I get to meet some of the most amazing people and then capture a special moment in their lives. For their engagement photoshoot, the couple chose Bok Tower and Gardens because Wendy and Tanner loved the intricate architecture that blended in so perfectly with nature. It was a beautiful location that they immediately fell in love with, it was like a fairytale come to life. And, I couldn’t agree more.

Wendy and Tanner met online while Wendy was vacationing in Wisconsin the summer of 2016. The two initially bonded over the shared hobby of writing and found other common creative interests that drew them together.

They spent weeks texting before Wendy returned home and they were finally able to meet. On their first date, Tanner took Wendy to a favorite brunch place in Chandler, AZ, where the two were inseparable ever since. Brunch turned into frozen yogurt, which turned into dinner, which turned into a long battle for the Pokemaster title.

Tanner and Wendy faced a multitude of obstacles while attempting to settle into a life together. Among the financial turmoil of Wendy's final year of college, losing beloved pets, moving across the country, and trying to fit into a strange new place, Tanner and Wendy worked through every bump together and truly defined the meaning of teamwork.

The couple looks forward to sharing the next chapter of their lives with their friends and family and are thankful for the love and support received by all as they worked relentlessly to get to where they are today.

Wendy and Tanner are so endearing with each-other and it’s obvious how much they truly care about the other. I can’t wait to watch them say I do on their wedding day as they encapsulate what it means to marry your best friend.
