It’s that time of the year again! The air is cooler, the trees are changing, holiday lights are up, and Christmas boudoir is in full swing. Are you on the naughty list? Every year around the holidays those not-so-nice wear red, lingerie, not sweaters! “Santa Baby” starts playing and the more modern Santa outfits are purchased; and this one is on the sexier side! Christmas gets the boudoir twist with photoshoots that are fun and creative. As lingerie stores launch their themed sets, more and more of these ideas are brought to life. Whether is posing by the tree in lingerie or using Christmas props for implied shoots, these photos will definitely not be making the family Christmas cards. They can, however, be a great calendar gift for your significant other or serve as a moment to remember.

Christmas boudoir it’s a fun way to bring holiday cheer into the everyday life and enjoy the season. It plays with the well-known concepts that we associate with the holiday and adds a twist. A great example is using the concept of presents to indicate that one is the gift, by posing with a gift box or using the box itself to create implied looks. Another is boudoir settings that use a fireplace in the frame to represent that one is waiting for Santa to slide down the chimney, wearing their most comfortable pajamas; the definition of pajamas is used loosely here. Most often the iconic Christmas hat is worn, just the hat! Seems as if the elves ran out of fabric, or maybe they just don’t deliver to those on the naughty list.

Regardless, they don’t seem to mind, that’s how they made the list in the first place. There is no denying that these shoots keep getting more and more creative and that sexy is very much present this holiday season. Who knows, maybe Santa does deliver to those on the naughty list after all.

Here at or studio we have two gorgeous set-ups to choose from for boudoir holiday photos. What makes these so unique is the beauty of putting together a themed session and adding the very popular boudoir element to it, creating stunning and elegant images. If you had been thinking of doing a boudoir shoot or wanted to update old ones, now is the time to book. While the holidays bring everyone together, is good to remember to not leave your significant other cold. We recommend bringing props such as Christmas hats, red or white lingerie, bows, etc. the list is endless and fully up to you! These would all work best for our grey/tan Christmas set-up representing the traditional Christmas décor and tree. Our second set-up is our green and gold space which is very popular this year. For this we recommend implied images as this theme is very upscale and classy.

The goal is to capture the holiday spirit in a non-traditional yet fun way. Remember, boudoir photos are a fun and sexy way to keep things hot like summer as the temperature drops outside.
